ONE AMANFOO COMMITS SUICIDE

The death is reported of Senior Osei Nkansah, an old boy of Prempeh College who was a final year student at Legon who actually just graduated.

He died by hanging himself.

According to his friends, the gentleman was seen as emotionally and spiritually disturbed and even though he had continually talked about hanging himself since his days in elementary and junior secondary school, the friends and family never took him seriously. Nobody bothered to send him to a psychiatrist, and now, he has carried out the plan.

Senior Nkansah contacted this website several months ago and asked for permission to use photos from our gallery to use in his final project, The History of Prempeh College, which he submitted to the University of Ghana faculty in fulfillment of his Bachelor of Arts degree. The work has been hailed at Legon as a masterpiece. But just upon completing his degree, he took his own life.

Since he intended to send his masterwork to this website for the world to see, prempeh.org will search for this project and display it here in the future as a tribute to him.
