AMANADEHYEE WALK HELD

The second annual Amanadehyee Walk was held at Accra on Republic day, July 1, 2005.

The usual goal of the Walk is to raise funds.

Though the target or specific aim of this years' version is not known to us at this time, we are aware that the young Amanfoo raised C20,000,000.00 last year, and that amount was donated to Yaa Asantewaa Girls School when they celebrated their Speech day.

With such a huge amount donated to the Royal Girls School, it should be expected that their Headmistress will allow the girls to come and spend a few nights at Prempeh. But will that dream be ever realised?

Anyway, let us not forget that our very own Opoku Ware House is falling apart.

When prempeh.org phoned the organizer of the Walk, Prof. Akosah, on Saturday night seeking comment about the Walk and the aim for it this year, he was in a meeting and pledged to give us the details later.
