    The worst Senior Prefects?
Headmaster Owusu-Achiaw at Assembly this morning expressed regret about putting this particular batch of Prefects into office. He branded them "ineffective" and has vowed to to conduct a more stringent vetting process this term for the next generation of Prefects.

He also advised the students, most of whom are fed up with this prefectorial body to "vote wisely for competent prefects." Students have pondered during the whole year about this particular prefects, particular about the Senior Prefect, who is considered aloof.

The Prefects can still bounce back and change public perception of them because VY Gyabaah and his administration were attacked during this time last year for being adamant to the students' request of getting new phone booths to replace the defunct and outmoded ones on campus. When new phones were later installed, Gyabaah's popularity rose again, and now he remains one of the most revered Senior Prefects in recent memory.

Meanwhile the College Chaplain has been assigned an office at the new Science Block building to see the spiritual upliftment of students. However, the students complain that the Chaplain is not acting as a Chaplain, but rather as a Senior Housemaster. "Chaplain should be Chaplain," the boys say. This is not the first time the students have criticized Chaplain Laryea. In April last year, they urged the Chaplain during Open Forum to smile more often.
