National Science & Maths Quiz 2004
Prempeh wins first battle
April 15, 2004
Prempeh today beat Ebenezer Secondary School of Accra 89:11 in the National
Science & Maths quiz. For the 5th round of the program, if a question is answered incorrectly,
one point is deducted. Our opponents answered all their questions in that round wrong bringing their total score to only 11.
The following is the round-by-round breakdown (the score at the end of each round is shown):
| ROUND 1 | PREMPEH | 21 | EBEN | 9 |
| ROUND 2 | PREMPEH | 40 | EBEN | 12 |
| ROUND 3 | PREMPEH | 43 | EBEN | 13 |
| ROUND 4 | PREMPEH | 63 | EBEN | 17 |
| ROUND 5 | PREMPEH | 89 | EBEN | 11 |
After the competition, our Physics
teacher, Digo, who is an OWASS oldboy
told our boys that they didn't do
well and that OWASS will surely beat
them. Amanfoo from Legon were so
infuriated by this discouraging remark
that some wanted to beat him up to
teach him a lesson. This is not the
first time he has done that to our boys,
which means his loyalty simply lies in
Santasi. Which is why we
need to stop accepting OWAREANS on our staff. How could such double-crossing persons
work for Prempeh? Will he purposely weaken our team to enhance the ever-dishonourable
OWAREAN agenda?
Bolgatanga Sec who were beaten by Prempeh
by a total of 25 points in the trial quizzies
eliminated ST. LOUIS today. The Louis Girls leave Accra prematurely
probably because they thought their position on the SSCE League Table alone
was sufficient to do well. Their so-called allied school, OWASS meet Swedru Secondary tomorrow.
