The Science contestants of Opoku Ware Senior High (OWASH) came to our campus today to make a statement.
Their quiz contestants, having defeated us in the quarter final of the 2008 National Science & Maths competition
drove their bus first to Prempeh campus when they returned from Accra this afternoon.
According to the Senior Prefect, the intruders, with the connivance of their adult teachers who sat in their bus and watched the proceedings
with glee, came and shouted insults at them: "Mo, moabon. Moa mowo sukuu mu ha nyinaa
abon (You people are really dumb, all the students of this school are dumb)."
After roaming the campus for a while and shouting obscenities they were driven to their campus.
While this is not the first time the Santasi boys have engaged in this behaviour, we feel that this particular incident
was ill-advised, particularly since they knew that thousands of our old boys were campus-bound today, intent on staging
the biggest demo of all time. This dozen OWASS students could have been outnumbered and crushed by the strong army of
disconslate Prempeh old boys.
According to the Senior Prefect, their departure lapsed the arrival of the first Prempeh bus by only about 5 minutes.
The demo that toppled Achiaw's regime today started at 4pm, while the Santasi people left our campus few minutes before that.
When will Stephen Anokye teach his boys how to behave appropriately, instead of acting disordered all the time?
