Prempeh Ready to Shine

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

Seth, Russ, and reserves Frank and Peprah
Prempeh College this year will be represented by Ohemeng Appiah Seth, Mensah Emmanuel Russ, Michael Anuku Boafo and Samuel Asare with the first three the principal team to do battle for the college.

Seth has been the first person of his class since Form One. He is seen to be the all-round guy in the group. A total replica of Kofi Tawiah and Louis of old. His versatility in all subjects has made his friends bestow on him the sobriquet, "Abnor".

Mensah Russ was a staunch helper of the contestants who represented Prempeh College last year. Though he was in the second year, he used to battle Dompreh, Jeffrey and Mawuena in quiz competitions. He is a master of the Applied Sciences and Biology. Russ has topped the whole of Prempeh College twice during his 3 year stay in the school. Just like Seth, he has already gained admission to the university by using the November/December WASSCE results which they took part in last year.

Michael Anuku is one you would call a boy with an open mind. Michael brings the best of Knowledge in Chemistry and Physics to the table. A 'shark' as it is referred in Ghana, he easily solves questions in a matter of seconds. The combination of these three boys will terrify every school in Ghana.

What has been the bane of Prempeh lately is the Headmaster's lack of interest in academic pursuits, his inability to inspire and his general lack of effort.

We hope this year will be a different and a success story for Prempeh College.
