Dr. Lewis Roberts
Dr. Lewis Roberts attended Prempeh College from 1969-76. A member of the Great 1974 Jubilee O-Level Class, he is now a
Gastroenterology specialist and Senior Associate Consultant of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester,
Minnesota.
He is the Coordinator of The Navigators Africa Partners
Medical Group, which helps establish and support private medical clinics in African countries.
He is also Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Mayo Medical School.
From Prempeh he enrolled at the University of Ghana Medical
School, Legon, where he earned an M.D in 1982. He earned a PhD in Physiology & Biophysics at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA (1986-92).
He completed an Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine,
Rochester, MN (1992-1998). His research interest is in Liver Cancer genetics.
